We're all children of God!
Senior Adult, Recycled
Teenager, or many
others...whatever they call us,
we're still children of God. So,
there's plenty of God's
work to do, for those of us that
no longer work at the same job
for 8 hours a day. Northside's
Senior Adult ministry is a
vibrant community of people of
an older age that choose to live
their lives as Jesus has
directed...and there's a place
in that group for you!
There's never a shortage of
senior events in which
to participate at Northside.
Some of the activities we have
coordinated in the past range
from luncheons and dances, to
conferences and retreats. We
like to fellowship with each
other, and hold each other
accountable for the Christian
lives we are called to lead.
From Sunday School classes each
week, to retreats and events
scheduled monthly, we like to
have fun and welcome you to
share in it with us!
Keep an eye on the events in the
news blog
to see what's coming up!
College Mentor Project
The Senior Adult Ministries Team
is sponsoring mentors for
college students. As our college
students head back to school, a
senior adult will adopt them and
be a contact with home. The
students will receive cards,
small gifts, words of
encouragement, clippings from
home news, and a newsletter. If
you are interested in becoming a
mentor, contact Shirley
Sheppard, 668-8941, or Donna
Turner, 668-0617.
