Dr. Don Thrasher, Senior Pastor
 
Don is the senior pastor at Northside. Don was born in Rector Arkansas; he has been in ministry since 1978 and has pastored several diverse congregations throughout his career. He and his wife Terri are in ministry together where ever God leads them. They have two children Sara and Stephen. Sara is married and living in Chattanooga and Stephen is in elementary school. Don hobbies are his flower garden, the outdoors and music. Don speaks of his Northside experience, “In 2001, we came to Jackson, Tennessee to pastor the Northside Church. Here we have found a loving, serving, caring congregation that we love dearly. Terri and I find Northside a church where the Spirit of God moves so freely. This is a place where people actually come forward and confess their sins and find healing for the brokenness in their lives. We never know from one week to the next just what will take place and it is wonderful. We have been blessed to serve with all the
people God has so graciously put us with. I love being the pastor and find the path getting more precious each day. I see all the pain and suffering, and the evil in this world, but I see even more, the awesome power of the love of Christ when people open their hearts to the truth and allow him to set them free.”
